চট্টগ্রামের সীতাকুণ্ড চন্দ্রনাথ ধামে আগামী ১১ মার্চ ২০২১ইং থেকে শুরু হতে যাচ্ছেে উপমহাদেশের সনাতন ধর্মালম্বীদের সবচেয়ে বড় তীর্থ শিব চর্তুদ্দশী মেলা।

৩দিনব্যাপি ঐতিহ্যবাহী এ শিব চর্তুদ্দশী মেলায় দেশ বিদেশের লাখো পূর্ণ্যাথীর আগমন ঘটে।‌ সুদীর্ঘ কাল থেকে দেশ বিদেশের লক্ষ-লক্ষ লোকের সমাগম হতো বিধায় কালক্রমে এইস্থান সনাতন ধর্মালম্বী সহ বিভিন্ন জাতি ধর্মের বিশাল মিলন মেলায় রূপান্তরিত হয়েছে।

বুধবার (৩মার্চ) বিকালে সনাতন সম্প্রাদায়ের অন্যতম শিব চর্তুদ্দশী মেলার সার্বিক কার্যক্রম নিয়ে আয়োজিত মতবিনিময় সভায় মেলা কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক পলাশ চৌধুরী বলেন, বিশ্বের সনাতন ধর্মাবলম্বীদের ঐতিহ্যবাহী চন্দ্রনাথ ধামের‌ এ তীর্থ একটি অতি পবিত্র ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থান যা মেলা হিসেবে পরিচিত হলেও এটি মুলত ধর্মপ্রাণ হিন্দুদের একটি ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান।

দেশ বিদেশ থেকে লক্ষ-লক্ষ লোকের সমাগম হয় বিধায় কালক্রমে এটি বিশাল মিলন মেলায় রূপান্তরিত হয়েছে।

শিব চর্তুদশী মেলা উপলক্ষে শিবরাত্রি ব্রত পালন ও শিব লিঙ্গে অর্ঘ্য প্রদানে লাখো পূণ্যার্থী জমা হন সীতাকুণ্ডের এ মেলায়।

প্রতিবছর এ মেলায় আনুমানিক দেশ-বিদেশের দশ-পনের লক্ষাধিক পূর্ণ্যাথীর আগমন হয় বলে স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায়।

প্রতিবারের মত এবারও মেলাকে সুশৃংখল ও সুন্দরভাবে পরিচালনার উদ্দেশ্যে এবারও প্রথমে স্থানীয়ভাবে,পরবর্তীতে উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা ও মেলা কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির এবং সর্বশেষ জেলা প্রশাসক চট্টগ্রাম ও সভাপতি মেলা কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সভায় চুড়ান্ত প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। ১১ থেকে ১৩ মার্চ ২০২১ইং শিব চর্তুদ্দশী এবং ২৮-২৯ মার্চ দোল পূর্ণিমা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

সীতাকুণ্ড স্রাইন কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে ভারতের পুরী লজিং এ্যাক্ট অনুযায়ী শিবরাত্রী পূজা অনুষ্ঠাানের যাবতীয় প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।

মেলায় সার্বিক আইন-শৃংঙ্খলা রক্ষার জন্যে নেওয়া হয়েছে বিশেষ ব্যবস্থা। মেলায় তীর্থ যাত্রীদের আগমনের সুবিধার্থে তুর্ণা নিশিতা, সুবর্ণ এক্সপ্রেস, মহানগর প্রভাতীসহ অন্যান্য আন্তনগর ট্রেন সমুহের সীতাকুণ্ডে ৩ মিনিট যাত্রা বিরতির ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। তীর্থের মন্দিরসহ মেলায় স্থাপিত দোকান,স্টল, বিনোদন কেন্দ্র সমূহকে অগ্নিকান্ডের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করা ও অসুস্থ তীর্থযাত্রীদের জরুরী ভিত্তিতে সেবা দেয়ার জন্য মেডিকেল বোর্ডসহ ফায়ার সার্ভিস বিভাগ সার্বক্ষণিকভাবে নিয়োজিত থাকবে।

এছাড়া সীতাকুণ্ড মেলা কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে বিভিন্ন সুবিধাজনক স্থানে পানীয় জলসহ ৩০ টি স্থায়ী-অস্থায়ী টয়লেট ব্যবস্থাপনার চেষ্টা প্রক্রিয়াধীন রয়েছে।

সীতাকুণ্ড বটতলী কালি মন্দির থেকে ইকোপার্ক হয়ে চন্দ্রনাথ মন্দির, বাড়বাকুণ্ড ও লবণাক্ষে যাতায়াতের জন্য বিশেষ যানবাহনের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। দেশের রাজনৈতিক পরিস্থিতি স্বাভাবিক থাকায় এবার মেলায় দেশ-বিদেশের লক্ষ-লক্ষ পূর্ণাথীর আগমন ঘটবে বলে আশা করছে সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলে।

তাছাড়া বর্তমান করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে মানুষ যাতে যথাযথ স্বাস্থ্য বিধি মেনে পূজা-কর্মাদি করতে পারে তার জন্য পর্যাপ্ত প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।
