করোনাযোদ্ধা সানাউল্লার উপর সন্ত্রাসী হামলা

সোনারগাঁয়ে স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংঘঠন “আমরা সেচ্ছাসেবী করোনা যোদ্ধা”র টিমলিডার মোঃ সানাউল্লাহ বেপারীর উপর সন্ত্রাসী হামলা হয়েছে।

গত সোমবার রাতে অমিত হাসানের নেতৃত্বে ২৫/৩০ জনের একটি সন্ত্রাসী দল তার উপর অর্তকিত হামলা চালায়। হামলায় স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংঘঠন আমরা স্বেচ্ছাসেবী করোনা যোদ্ধা টিমলিডার সানাউল্লাহ বেপারীকে মারাত্মক ভাবে আহত করা হয়।

আহত সানাউল্লাকে প্রথমে সোনারগাঁ উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে ভর্তি করা হয়। তার স্বাস্থ্যের অবস্থার অবনতি হলে পরে তাকে উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্য ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজে হাসপাতালে স্থানাস্তর করা হয়।

মামলার এজাহার থেকে জানা যায়, বৈদ্যের বাজার ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান আব্দুর রউফের ছেলে মোহাম্মদুল্লাহ ও অমিত হাসান মিরাজের নেতৃত্বে এ হামলা হয়েছে বলে জানা যায়।

এছাড়াও হামলার সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন রিদয়, খোকন, সাইফুল ইসলাম, আরিফ, নাইম, ফয়সাল, রিপন, মেহেদী হাসানসহ ২০/২৫ জন অজ্ঞাতনামা সন্ত্রাসী দেশীয় অস্ত্রে সজ্জিত হয়ে পূর্ব প্রস্তুতি নিয়ে পিস্তল, রাম দা, চাপাটি, ধারালো ছুরি, লোহার রড, গ্যাসের পাইব, কাঠ ও বাঁশের লাঠি নিয়ে হাকিম ডাক্তারের বাড়ির সামনে ওয়াসার রাস্তার মাথায় মূল সড়কে সিএনজিও মোটরসাইকেল দিয়ে সানাউল্লাহ বেপারীর সিএনজি অবরোধ করে অতর্কিত ভাবে চারপাশ থেকে হামলা করে।

এতে তিনি মাথায়, দুহাতে, দুপায়ে, পিঠে আঘাত প্রাপ্ত হয়, তার সাথে থাকা আলী আকবর ও রহমত আলী তারাও আঘাত প্রাপ্ত হয়। সোনারগাঁ স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে এ নিয়ে শরীরের কাটা জায়গা সমুহ শেলাই করে এবং প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা শেষে অবস্থার অবনতি দেখা দিলে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তর করা হয়।

সানাউল্লাহ বেপারীর পিতা মোঃ তোফাজ্জল হোসেন বাদী হয়ে সোনারগাঁ থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করেন।

এই হামলার প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছে সোনারগাঁয়ের সুশীল সমাজসহ সাধারণ মানুষ। করোনা মহামারীর সময় এমপি লিয়াকত হোসেন থোকার তৈরি করে দেওয়া এই স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংঘঠন আমরা সেচ্ছাসেবী করোনা যোদ্ধা সংঘঠনটির মাধ্যমে ৩৬জন করোনায় মৃত ব্যাক্তির দাফনসহ বিভিন্ন সাহসী কর্মকান্ডের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছে এই সানাউল্লাহ বেপারী। তার এই কার্যবলী মানুষের কাছে সমাদৃত।

এ ব্যাপারে সোনারগাঁ থানার ওসি বলেছেন, থানায় অভিযোগ পেয়েছি দোষীদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।
