নারায়ণগঞ্জে সােনারগাঁয়ে মেঘনা শিল্পাঞ্চলের বসুন্ধরা পেপার মিলের বেল্টে পরে টিপু সুলতান ( ১৬ ) নামের এক শিশু শ্রমিকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে ।
গত সােমবার দিবাগত রাতে বসুন্ধরা পেপার মিলসে কাজ করার সময় রাত ১২ টায় এ দূর্ঘটনা ঘটে। মঙ্গলবার সকালে জানাজা শেষে স্থানীয় সামজিক কবরস্থানে দাফন সম্পূর্ণ করেন।
নিহত টিপু সুলতান উপজেলার পিরােজপুর ইউনিয়নের মৃধাকান্দি গ্রামের আনােয়ার আলী আনুর তিন সন্তানের মধ্যে ১ম সন্তান।
পরিবারসুত্রে জানা যায় , প্রতিদিনের মতাে গতকাল বিকেলে নাইট ডিউটির উদ্দেশ্যে স্থানীয় বসুন্ধরা পেপার মিলসে কাজে যায়। পরে রাত ১২ টায় কোম্পানির কর্মকর্তা ফোন করে জানায় টিপু কর্মস্থলের মেশিনের বেল্টে পরে মারা গেছে। এ খবর শুনেই সাথে সাথে আমরা ঘটনাস্থলে পৌছাই। পরে লাস নিয়ে আসি।
সােনারগাঁ থানার অফিসার্স ইনচার্জ রফিকুল ইসলাম জানান, এ বিষয়ে আমরা কিছু জানি না। অভিযােগ পেলেই আমরা তদন্ত সাপেক্ষে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহন করবাে।
