আজ শনিবার সারাদেশে বিক্ষোভ কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করেছে হেফাজত। এছাড়া রোববার সারা দেশে সকাল-সন্ধ্যা হরতাল ডেকেছে হেফাজতে ইসলাম বাংলাদেশ।

ঢাকা, চট্টগ্রাম ও ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়ায় গতকাল শুক্রবার নেতা-কর্মী ও প্রতিবাদী মুসল্লিদের হত্যা ও হামলার প্রতিবাদে আজ শনিবার সারা দেশে বিক্ষোভ এবং রোববার সকাল-সন্ধ্যা হরতালের ঘোষণা দিয়েছে হেফাজতে ইসলাম।

শুক্রবার রাত আটটায় পুরানা পল্টনে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে সংগঠনের কেন্দ্রীয় নায়েবে আমির আবদুর রব ইউসুফী এ ঘোষণা দেন।

সংবাদ সম্মেলনের আগে চট্টগ্রাম থেকে হেফাজতে ইসলামের আমির জুনায়েদ বাবুনগরী একটি ভিডিও বার্তা পাঠান বলে একজন নেতা জানান।

শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যা্য় পল্টনে ঢাকা মহারগর হেফাজতের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মামুনুল হক তার পক্ষে কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করেন। বাংলাদেশে ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেদ্র মোদির আগমনের প্রতিবাদে বায়তুল মোকাররম, হাটহাজারীসহ সারা দেশে আন্দোলনরতদের ওপর হামলা ও ৫ জন নিহত হওয়ার ঘটনায় এ কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। হেফাজতের প্রচার সেলের সদস্য মাওলানা আতাউল্লাহ আমিন এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।

তিনি বলেন, ঢাকার বায়তুল মোকাররম, চট্টগ্রামের হাটহাজারী, ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়াসহ বিভিন্ন স্থানে ​প্রতিবাদী মুসল্লিদের ওপর পুলিশ ও সরকারদলীয় ক্যাডার বাহিনী হামলা করে পাঁচজনকে শহীদ করেছে। অসংখ্য মুসল্লিকে আহত করেছে ও গ্রেপ্তার করেছে। এর প্রতিবাদে এ কর্মসূচি দেওয়া হয়েছে।

এদিকে হেফাজতে ইসলামের আমীর জুনায়েদ বাবুনগরী চট্টগ্রাম মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালের সামনে অবস্থান করছেন।

সেখান থেকে হেফাজতের সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক আজিজুল হক ইসলামাবাদী সাংবাদিকদের ব্রিফ করেন। তিনি বলেন, ‘আমরা চাই ময়নাতদন্ত ছাড়াই পরিবারের কাছে লাশ হস্তান্তর করা হোক।তিনি আরও দাবি করেন, হেফাজতের মোট ৫ জন কর্মী মারা গেছেন। এর মধ্যে চারজন হাটহাজারীতে এবং একজন ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়ায়।

তিনি আরও বলেন, ‘আমাদের এ কর্মসূচি সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে ছিল না। এটি ছিল নরেন্দ্র মোদির বিরুদ্ধে। মোদি সে দেশে মুসলিমদের নির্যাতন করছেন। এর প্রতিবাদ স্বরূপ এ কর্মসূচি দিয়েছিলাম।’

সংবাদ সম্মেলনে হেফাজতে ইসলামের ঢাকা মহানগর কমিটির সভাপতি মাওলানা জুনাইদ আল হাবীব, সাধারণ সম্পাদক মাওলানা মামুনুল হক, কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থ সম্পাদক মনির হোসেন কাসেমী, সহসাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক আতাউল্লাহ আমীনসহ কেন্দ্রীয় নেতারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

মামুনুল হক বলেন, স্বাধীনতার সুবর্ণজয়ন্তীর এই দিনে পুলিশ ও সরকারি দলের সন্ত্রাসী বাহিনী যেভাবে প্রতিবাদী মুসল্লিদের ওপর হামলা করেছে, তাতে স্বাধীনতা দিবসের ইতিহাসে এটি একটি কলঙ্কজনক অধ্যায় হিসেবে চিহ্নিত হয়ে থাকবে।
